First Period Worcester Fluted Imari Trio c.1770
Very pretty Worcester trio comprising tea cup, coffee cup and saucer, of fluted form with scalloped rims and decorated in the imari style in iron red and dark blue and with gilt accents. White panels painted with bold floral displays separated by blue bands with gilded cross-hatched decoration and daisy type flowers. The saucer rim and inner rims of the cups decorated with a blue band with gilded scroll frieze. Provenance: The Tim Olney Collection.
