French Secrétaire Inlaid In Walnut, Mahogany
French secrétaire from the mid-twentieth century. Furniture inlaid in walnut, mahogany, maple and fruitwood richly adorned with gilded and chiseled bronze and brass. Secrétaire equipped with four external drawers (lower part) and fall-front (complete with working key) in the upper part. Interior with a good-sized desk top, two drawers and two compartments for documents (see photo). Upper top in marble, not original, recently replaced (see photo). Furniture with some signs of aging, overall in good state of conservation.
