George II Silver Reversible Marrow Scoop 1751
Very nice Georgian silver double ended marrow scoop spoon unusually with the thin scoop reversed. Hallmarked for London 1751, maker's mark partially rubbed and obscured.
It measures 22cm (8 5/8") long and 1.6cm (5/8") across the wide scoop, 0.8cm (3/8") across the small scoop. It weighs 35g / 1.1ozt. Condition is very good with no damage or repairs. Light surface wear, as mentioned the maker's mark is rubbed the others are clear but a bit squashed on the stem. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
