George II Silver Salver Waiter John Tuite 1740
Nice early Georgian silver waiter with pretty rim with scallop shells and set on 3 oyster style stepped hoof feet. Hallmarked for London 1740 with maker's mark for specialist salver maker John Tuite.
It measures 6 5/8" wide and 1" high and weighs 229g/7.4ozt. Condition is very good with 2 pinpricks only to the surface. It is engraved to the centre. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
