An early George III, English Silver Tray made by Richard Rugg in London and dating from c1763.
The tray is supported on three feet, standing about 1" inch (25mm) in height.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "R.R" for Richard Rugg, the Lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, the Crowned Leopard's Head town mark for London and date letter "h" for 1763/64.
A very nice Georgian English Silver Tray.
