This pretty George Jones Majolica Strawberry Basket, Pattern Number 3300 and marked with an impressed Crescent and Initials, dates from circa 1880. It has four sections, two larger ones to hold the fruit and the two smaller ones for cream and sugar.
The Basket is raised on four feet modelled as small branches.
The top of the Handle has been broken and reglued at some time and there is a small, old chip to one foot.
