Georgian mahogany pedestal Pembroke sofa table
Antique Georgian Regency mahogany pedestal Pembroke sofa table, dating from around 1820.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
This table sold for £1500 in 2004 (see picture of receipt). This table is far better than most!
Very attractive patinated flame mahogany top.
No loose joints or wobbles and the mahogany lined drawer slides freely (dummy at the other end).
Simple pedestal base and a beautifully turned stem, terminating in brass paw feet and castors (some wear as you would expect).
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 104cmW (55cmW closed) x 99cmD x 71cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Just a few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. There is a period steel strengthening plate to the underside of the base (nearly all similar antique tables have these). No key and the lock is untested.
Stock No. 3768.
30 day no quibble money back guarantee.
Competitive UK and overseas door to door shipping.
