Georgian Spode Porcelain Coffee Can Pattern 643
An attractive Spode bone china coffee can painted in the bold pattern number 643 with a central frieze of gilt stars over an orange seaweed background, sandwiched between orange bands with black enamel running pattern framed with gilt. Gilded band around the foot, rim and handle. Unmarked c.1800-1805.
It measures 6.5cm (2 9/16") high and 6.7cm (2 5/8") rim to rim.
Condition is very good: there is a fine hairline across the handle which appears to be glaze level only. No other damage or repair. Minor handling wear to the gilt on the gilt on the handle and a little to a couple of spots on the rim. A little discolouration on the underside of the base. There is a small underglaze indent to the rim on the inside from manufacture. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days.
