Dating to the beginning of the 20th century this East German pine Dresser base / sideboard is in very good condition.
Standing on turned feet, the sideboard has a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors which benefits from having a working lock and key. The 2 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have turned knobs and run with ease.
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches but does have a historical crack shown in photo..

The sideboard has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the sideboard but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment.

The sideboard measures
49.5 inches wide
23.5 inches deep
40 inches high.
