This extremely rare Globe Wernicke Bureau made from Oak , has the top section that folds down for your writing surface and also has sections for papers etc, below the writing surface is a large drawer . The bottom half of the bureau has the compartment for your books /files or larger items, brass handles to the drawers and stands on cabriole legs.
This bereau would make a fantastic gift for someone who loves to work at a desk but does not have the space for a desk and a bookcase.
