A fine Coalport porcelain beer mug printed with Caughley's pine cone pattern to one side and their Rose Centred Spray on the other with a detailed floral band down the handle and further smaller fruit and flowers sprigs. It is quite a busy arrangement but very crisp detail on the main prints and a lovely dark indigo tone makes it an attractive example.

Marked with an open crescent to the base (distinct from the hatched crescent found on earlier Worcester printed wares).

It measures 4 5/8" (11.8) and 8.7cm (3 3/8") rim to rim.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration. There is a small firing crack at the rim and another glaze fault inside the base. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
