Large Georgian style mahogany pedestal desk by Reprodux Bevan & Funnell c.1980. 62″ x 34″ desk top with three tooled leather panels, a thumb moulded edge and three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals with leather top slides and drawers either side of a large kneehole (height 24″). Note the double height drawer to the bottom of the right hand pedestal. Flame mahogany veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and Georgian pattern swan neck handles. Dummy drawer fronts on the rear of the desk which is also flame mahogany veneered and polished. Raised mouldings and turned roundels to the sides of the desk. Raised on a moulded plinth. Maker’s label inside the top right hand drawer. Some wear and fading to the leather, otherwise excellent colour and condition. Key supplied.
