Very impressive solid silver tazza by the Birmingham makers Elkington & Co. dated 1966. Neo-Classical tazza standing over 13" tall, featuring a 10½" diameter bowl with pierced handles with acanthus detail. Raised on a segmented stem with applied and decorated brackets and a flared base with gadroon moulding. With a clear set of hallmarks to the outside of the bowl. Some scratches and small dents to the bowl. Otherwise excellent condition. Weight 69oz/2140g.
