Large Sterling Silver Cigarette Case 1946
A large solid silver cigarette / card case in excellent condition. It is beautiful! The case is superbly made fully hallmarked sterling silver. The lid & base have engine turned designs separated by smooth vertical borders. On the left hand side the cartouche is blank. This case does not have any initials / monogram or inscriptions. The case was made by R.N.Hollings & Co. & assayed in Birmingham in 1946. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The interior is gilded. Both the lid and base are hallmarked.
The case measures 11.4 cm X 8.8 cm & weighs 177.6 grams.
This vintage accessory comes with an immaculate velvet pouch to protect it.
