A bold and impressive late Victorian period "Green Man" carved oak pedestal desk of generous proportions. Very well constructed in solid English oak, the top inset with a sumptuous green leather writing surface, complete with gilt tooling to the surrounds. With a series of 7 drawers , all decorated with crisply carved detailing. The sides of the pedestals and the rear are completed with paneling. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a rich colour and patina. Splits into 3 sections for ease of installation.
