A enchantingly beautiful Stratton brand powder compact which was crafted in the late 1940s. The lid features a hand painted seascape. The remarkable compact is protected with a with a coat of clear enamel which has ensured that the lid decoration is in superb condition. The whole exterior compact including the background onto which the seascape is depicted is decorated with golden enamel. The powder well is decorated with a protective coat of highly durable enamel. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 64 grams. Excellent all round condition.

This charming Stratton Scone without Inner Lid is presented with the original accessories, as shown in the images.The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND.

This compact is ideal for use with all loose foundation or as a cherished collectible.
