Long Pine Tack Room Bench c.1890.
Late 19th.c. pine tack room or hall bench c.1890. Simple design, just over 6″6″ long but unusually shallow front to back, ideal for a hallway. In solid douglas fir timbers of very attractive grain. With an 8″ wide seat below a turned back rail. On shaped ends with a turned roundel and moulded sleigh feet. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
