Matched Silver Coffee Spoons In Box 1915 & 1928
Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to offer sale this lovely set of six matched George V period hallmarked silver demitasse coffee spoons in the Old English Pattern. The spoons come in a period retailer's box marked Debenham & Freebody department store Wigmore Street London that later became Debenhams.

Date mark: x3 1915 & x3 1928
Assay office: Sheffield
Length: 9cm
Combined weight: 50 grams
Condition report:
This matched set of spoons is in excellent condition with only light age related tarnish marks and surface scratches.
The period box that comes with the spoons is in good condition, some wear particularly to one corner where the leatherette is torn, the box interior is stained but intact and holds the spoons securely and nicely.
These solid silver spoons would make a superb gift or a beautiful asset for your own silver collection and would look pretty on display. These spoons are ideal for indoor and outdoor entertaining for coffees at tea time or after dinner coffee in the evening, a beautiful set to own.
