19thc satsuma meiji period vases with covers very large pair of japanese satsuma pottery vases the pair of vases are very large each vase is 29 inches high .
Each vase has its covers which are signed the handles of the vases and their covers have temple dogs of foo. The vases have hand painted moiage decoration with gilding of scenes of samari with diffirent scenes of samari decoration to each side of the vases and stand of temple elephant feet .
The vases have some areas of old iron staple restoration to the necks of the vases with some restoration still needed to the necks of the vases the broken pieces from the necks are still with the vases .the area of damage is to the necks of the vases only.
