Two Worshipful Company of Mercers Receipts of 1830 and 1833 for Mr Charles Holtzapffel half yearly rental on his business premises. Both receipts have Embossed Receipt Duty Stamps for Six Pence.
John Jacob Holtzapffel founded his Tool,Lathe and Printing Presses Company in 1793 based at 64 Charing Cross Road, London. Charles (Inventor)was his son who entered the family business in 1827
