Mid 20th.c. Chinese Oriental Couch c.1950.
Stylish mid 20th.c. Chinese Oriental couch c.1950. Hardwood frame with a decorative pierced backrest and arms over a solid seat as traditionally found on Chinese antique furniture. Loose seat cushion covered in a silver grey velvet chenille. Carved with dragon’s heads on the backrest (also repeated on the rear), a frieze on the shaped apron below the seat and note also the front feet carved as stylized human heads. Very good condition with clean and serviceable covers.
