Mid Century Oak Chest of 5 Drawers By Meredew
Early 1970s lighter oak chest of five drawers from British makers Meredew, this one possessing the lesser seen oak knobs. This one survives in good order and would fit into period and modern homes or commercial space. We do have a matching set of bedside cabinets if you desire a matching set.
It’s a classic mid-century design well executed by Meredew – simple angles and lines to the oak frame and the five drawers are all with their original nipple shaped oak knobs.
Workshop report – The chest sits in well cared for order – the top is in great order with no stains or marks. The tone is good with no splits or breaks to the sides. We do have a very small loss of oak veneer to the left edge of the 2nd drawer and a little to the 4th but hardly noticeable and not nasty looking. The drawers are clean and neat and running as they should.
A neat British chest C1970 ready to fill.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
