Mid Century Rock n Rest Armchair & Footstool
What a wonderful piece of British antique furniture – the Rock n Rest armchair by Gimson and Slater in new upholstery. This one has the full works, fully working chair – it rocks and you can change the height with the handle on the side, height adjustable matching stool and the little weighted headrest.
This one has enjoyed a full refurbishment. The superbly flowing oak frame with the arms topped with a slender layer of teak has been softly polished, likewise the stool. The seat and stool have been fully reupholstered, rewebbed and topped with a stunning, textured new wool upholstery fabric in Bordeaux made by Bute Fabric.
It sits ready to rock and roll, a real beauty!

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
