A fabulous ceramic miniature baluster vase by Moorcroft C1940s. The vase was produced around the time Walter had taken over from his father William.
The vase displays the popular Orchid pattern. The Orchid pattern was first developed by William in 1937 and continued intermittently by Walter through the 1940s and 1950s. The colours and glazing blends are superb.
The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restorations. It does have light crazing to the glaze but this is quite normal for a piece of this age.
Would make a nice cabinet piece for any collector.

Dimensions - 8.6 cm high, 6.5 cm diameter
