A truly stunning late Victorian playing card / games box made from beautiful Olivewood with cross-banding to the edges and intricately inlaid with a suite of cards surrounded with olive branches superbly executed.

This large box comes complete with a working key and once opened reveals a variety of playing cards, gaming chips, miniature dominoes etc.

Excellent condition dating to c.1880. 13" x 9 1/4" x 3 1/4" tall.
