Most unusual to find a pair of caddies, particularly as a graduated pair one larger and one smaller, both with identical maker's marks on the underside, I believe for W S Savage of Sheffield.

The beautifully shaped boxes stand on four original ball feet and have figural Lion's head ring handles in the form of Lion's heads, very English and very late Victorian.

Made from silver plate and dating to around 1890, they remain in excellent condition with a couple of minuscule little dings and a little copper showing through high spots, not a fault but mentioned for accuracy.

The large caddy measures 5" handle to handle x 4" x 6 1/4" tall to top of finial the smaller measuring 4 1/2" handle to handle x 3 1/8" x 5 1/4" tall.
