Pair of 18thC Thames Valley Side Chairs Welsh Stick Chair %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A pair of fine 18th Century Thames Valley windsor side chairs, the Thames valley being highly regarded for the quality of seating produced there. Featuring beautifully grained elm seats with beech wood sticks and back splat, supported on nicely turned ash legs with stretchers.
In nice original condition and free from any losses, with just a small number of historic worm holes and a small area to the front left of each chair where they appear to have been gnawed by a small dog, which we have seen on several seats in the past.
