Pair of antique bedside chests made up from many exotic woods, with various inlays & marquetry. Some of the woods involved are Kingwood, walnut, satinwood, ebony, etc. They are good quality & have lovely figurings within the woods. I would date them to around the 1950’s period & they have just been French polished, so are in excellent condition. They have two drawers in each, with original brass handles. These chests have beautiful details all over, including on the sides & they sit on tapered legs. There is also a matching large chest of drawers which is being offered separately on the site & this would compliment these bedsides in the same room.
