Paper Envelope dated 1839
Paper Envelope addressed to Lady Caroline Barrington,daughter of Charles Grey, 2nd Earle Grey, Prime Minister of Great Britain & Ireland.
She was Women of the Bedchamber in 1837 - 1875 and Lady Superintendent to the Princesses.
The correspondence was sent from Darce, most probably Lady Barbarrina Darce, poet and dramatist wife of Thomas 20th Earl Darce.
Has the red postal franking with Crown and Free dated 183, plus the Seal of Darce and was addressed to Windsor Castle
