A magnificent mother of pearl Stratton 'Fob Convertible' compact in excellent condition. The fob convertible is an uncommon Stratton powder compact, a highly collectible novelty compact having only two known years of availability in the early 1960s. This compact has a lid adorned with mother of pearl & it is very attractive. Push on the 'winder' to open the compact. The original puff & sifter are present & the black felt pouch too. The mirror is excellent & gives a good reflection. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror bezel is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND'. The base has the famous all over star pattern.
This Stratton 'Fob Convertible' powder compact measures 3 1/4" & weighs 107.5 grams.
