Pencil study by Phyllis M. Wise - Dog with Snipe
This fantastic large study by Phyllis M. Wise after Sir Edwin Landseer. A beautiful portrait drawing of a hunting dog with snipe in the mouth by a very accomplished artist. This wonderful pencil drawing with ebonised frame will sit comfortably in any country house. The drawing is dated 1920 and signed Phyllis Wise with a further notation to the bottom left corner: “after Sir Edwin Landseer”.
