Philips 12 Inch Terrestrial Globe On Stand (England)
A 12 inch diameter world globe made by Philips of London. It shows The Empire in Pink, with distanced between major Cities and The equation of Time and has a polished brass Meridian. It stands on a turned ebonised beechwood base. It dates after 1930 as Constantinople is shown as Istanbul, but predates 1935 as Persia is still shown and not Iran.
Current Condition
In condition commensurate with age. Please email us if you would like a 360 degree video clip of this globe. The beechwood base is in good condition.

31.00cm wide 53.00cm high 31.00cm deep (12.20 inches wide 20.87 inches high 12.20 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
