A gorgeous matte grey enamel powder compact case with lipstick holder. This delightful set was made in the 1960s. It comes with the original accessories - presentation box, felt pouch, luxury puff, sifter, instruction leaflet, lipstick dummy tube and padded paper insert. The 'Convertible' compact is suitable for all loose powder and all standard sizes of compressed powder (67 mm diameter). For example: Miss Beauty, CCUK, Max Factor 'Creme Puff' and Rimmel 'Stay Matte'. The 'Lipview' will hold any size of lipstick tube. There isn't any enamel loss on either item. The brass was lacquered during production and so it will retain this super unused condition. Both mirrors give excellent reflections. All clasps and hinges work exactly as they should. The presentation box is also still looking good. The interior lid is signed 'Stratton'. The interior base is lined with white satin. The exterior box is white with a golden linear pattern. The compact measures 3" and weighs 92.2 grams. The 'Lipview' measures 2 1/2" and weighs 18.7 grams.
