Prattware Footed Tray Circa 1860 Prattware Victorian Sir David Wilkie %%alt5%%
We have the real pleasure of being able to offer this lovely mid 19th century Prattware footed dish or taza.

This lovely large oval Prattware dish is beautifully decorated with with a 1,2,3 border, a turquoise background and a central scene depicting "The blind Fiddler". From the underside of the base extend two two gilded white handles and the base itself is marked "The blind fiddler by Sir David Wilkie RA"

This piece of Prattware is about 13 & 3/4 inches (35cm) wide and is in an excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs, although to be fussy there is a little bit of ware to the gilt of the handles. This piece looks as if it has been a display item and has seen very little use.

This is a heavy item and will need to be delivered by courier. However, delivery within mainland Britain is included in the price. For non UK mainland residents, please contact us directly before purchasing to discuss shipping costs.
