Pristine Rare Art Nouveau BURMANTOFTS Tulips Vase Burmantofts Art Pottery faience %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
One of the most attractive BURMANTOFTS Faience Art Pottery Vases we have seen! Apart from minor age crazing in the glaze, this looks like it came out of the Burmantofts Leeds factory yesterday.
The Burmantofts factory was in production from 1882 to 1904.

An unusual, rare and beautiful Art Nouveau incised design of 3 panels of tulips and sinuous leaves between 3 'handles'. Stunning colours, yellows, olive green and brown, on a deep green background.
Fully marked to base with BF monogram, ENGLAND, and design no. 2246.

Condition is superb. (Any light areas are reflections)
Height ~ 262mm, width (handle-handle_ ~ 130mm.

A wonderful collector's piece!
