Rare 19thC Welsh Fruitwood Linen Press
A very sweet and rare early 19thC Cardiganshire Linen Press of desirable small proportions. Constructed from beautifully mellow coloured fruitwood with pole lathe turned screw and handy drawer.
Used for storing/pressing bed linen flat when not in use it would be perfect for displaying Welsh blankets or would make a nice little side or hall table.
In excellent original condition, free from repairs, losses or damage. With a number of historic worm holes as is always the case with delicious fruitwoods all timber is very solid and suitable for daily use.
This is a superb looking piece of Welsh country antique furniture and is small enough for almost any property.
