A rare Anglo Indian solid ebony writing and sewing table. The stepped bone inlaid lid lifts to reveal a well fitted interior including a fold down writing slope which retains the original tooled leather writing surface. The partitions arranged for sewing and writing paraphernalia with 2 secret drawers. The decoratively bone inlaid front with working lock & keys and the box is supported on well turned spindles. The ring turned column supported by the tri-form base with carved feet. The whole in very good original condition. Dimensions:- Height…32.75’’/ 83cm. Width…17’’/ 43cm. Depth…11’’/28cm.
