Rare Early Royal Crown Derby Blanc de Chine Cockerel Figure.
Dates to the 19th Century the Stephenson and Hancock period.
Circa 1863-1866, these marks are usually in red but this is blue under glaze.
Rare, II have never seen a cockerel.
Height 7.5ins
Length around 5.5ins approx
A lovely figure in really good antique condition, there is a slight flakey graze to the base rim,barely visible see pictures otherwise, seems all perfect.
Really well sculpted all around the cockerel, leaning on a basket behind him.
Lovely collectable.
