Rare Large Ironstone Pure Milk Pail c1910
A stunning rare large ironstone Pure Milk pail. c1910. These pails were most commonly made in the Staffordshire potteries for the Co-operative Society. Beautiful floral transfer graphics graphics to the base perimeter and rim and a large central scene depicting a dairy farmer or possibly drovers rearing by a pond. In superb condition, free from restoration or repair with just a single small chip to rim and a small amount of gentle crazing to the glaze. Overall a stunning and very rare item that presents beautifully.
