A striking early 19th century ebonised and gilt chair with hand-painted detail, cane seat and sabre legs.

The chair boasts a central gilt flower with hand-painted floral decoration to the back splat. The chair shows wear throughout commensurate with age. The seat has suffered historic damage to the back edge of the cane seat (please see photographs) this has been historically repaired and the seat remains strong and sturdy.
