Regency pier cabinet with Sphinx heads and marble chiffonier cabinet hall table %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Very elegantly proportioned Regency two door pier cabinet or chiffonier with brass Sphinx columns and brass lattice grille, finished with a stunning green shaped marble top.
Lovely condition, showing very little signs of previous restoration, so this piece has been able to age gracefully and been well looked after.
The brass lattice grille work is backed by a vintage silk panel which is showing signs of age as you can see from the photos. This is possible to change if you would rather, so please do get in touch if you would like to discuss this.
This is a slim piece, so it would work well as a hall console, but also stands well as a feature piece flanked by a pair of suitable chairs and a gilt mirror hanging above as I have shown ( for examples and not included in the price of the chiffonier! ).
Lovely piece, good condition and a great decorative antique.
Measuring:
38 1/2” or 98cm high
42 1/2” or 108cm wide
16 1/2” or 42cm deep

12 1/2” or 32cm internal depth
