An impressive burr walnut lowboy, side or lamp table, in the early Georgian style. Of very good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The splendid shaped top is finished with thumb-nail moldings to the edges. There is an arrangement of two long drawers , sitting over a single smaller drawer. All are fitted with their original brass swan-neck handles. The whole piece stands on striking cabriole legs with carvings to the knees and terminating in ball can claw feet. There is further carved decoration to be found to the corners and flanking the smaller drawer. We have had this piece sympathetically repolished to a very high standard, it now has a rich colour and patina. It is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
