Set of six large ash and elm Windsor armchairs. Good quality reproductions of an early 19th.c. design. Tall ash backs with slim spindles and pierced oak backsplats with a traditional wheel detail. Swept arm supports and large single piece saddle seats shaped from thick elm boards. Raised on slim turned ash legs, splayed for stability and joined with curved crinoline stretchers. Excellent condition. cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
