Invitation Card for The Sheriffs Elect at Goldsmiths Hall, London, to proceed from hence to Westminster to present The Sheriffs & to return to The Albion House to Dinner at Five O'clock. London 6th September 1828.

Printed and Embossed by James Whiting. (Whiting Patentee - Beaufort House on the base of card).
The card was once in a frame, hence the four corners being cut and on the reverse has brown makes from the wooden back of the frame.
The base of the card has been cut but not all the way through and again most probably whilst originally framing the card.
The Emossed decorative border was also used by Whiting in the Royal Cameo Scrapbook Heads Collection. See item
