A handsome large English magnifying glass with a sterling silver handle hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with a highly decorative silver ferrule joining it to the large magnifier. The front of the handle is decorated with a wonderful blue guilloche enamel with a bright patina showcasing the attractive engine turned design below.

The nickel rimmed glass if of course new, creating a perfect and undamaged lens with excellent magnification, as useful as beautiful sitting on the most elegant of desk-tops.

Excellent condition measuring 9 1/4" with a glass diameter measuring 4".
