A truly smart and elegant frame made from English sterling silver with a full hallmark for Birmingham 1905, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, E Mander & Son.

The silver wraps around the side of the solid Oak banking and the front is beautifully engine-turned. The folding easel back stand is one which allows the frame to be used either in a landscape or portrait configuration, always very popular.

Excellent condition measuring 5 3/8" x 3 7/8" with the oval glazed aperture measuring 4 1/2" x 3 1/8".
