Silver Watch Fob, 1921
Silver watch fob/medal.
These fobs were used to decorate a gentleman's watch chain. They were also frequently engraved and awarded as sporting trophies.
This fob features a relief cast family coat of arms to the front, with a plain reverse. It has not been personalised/engraved.
We have not been able to identify the arms further
The fob is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1921, and the maker Robert Chandler.
The hallmarks are all worn but still readable.
The fob is 2.5 cm (1") in diameter, excluding the suspension ring. It weighs 9 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The fob is in overall good condition, with surface scratches commensurate with age.
