A delightful fully hallmarked antique locket which was assayed (tested for purity) at Chester in 1920. One side of this delightful locket pendant is ornamented with ivy and acanthus leaves and a scroll cartouche. The other side is engraved with forget-me-nots and acanthus leaves.

Ivy leaves symbolise devotion, loyalty and also wedded bliss. Acanthus leaves represent longevity and immortality. The depiction of forget-me-nots symbolise true love and respect. The scroll symbolises wisdom.

The locket is suspended from an elegant 18 inch necklace. The interior of the locket is fitted with the original frames and sepia photographs and clear portrait protectors. The catches and hinges work perfectly.
