Solid Gold Watch Fob On 18 Inch Necklace
A wonderful WWI era fully hallmarked 9ct gold swivel fob which was tested for gold purity at Chester Assay Office in 1919. This gold fob is paired with an elegant 18 inch 9 carat gold cable chain necklace so that it can be worn as a pendant. This delightful fob would look so stylish hanging from a watch chain. This antique gold chain link framed double swivel fob seal is set with bloodstone. Stylish blank gold rear face.
Antique fobs set with bloodstone are highly collectible & sought-after. The green jasper has red and white inclusions of hematite. The red inclusions are said to resemble spots of blood, hence the name bloodstone. Christian legend refers to the ground being covered in the blood of Christ during the Crucifixion.
Bloodstone is considered to be a powerful talisman giving the wearer courage & success.
