Superb Italian Sorrento ware centre table c.1900. 35½" diameter top featuring a striking specimen wood starburst design radiating from a twelve pointed compass at the centre. Surrounded by a broad band of well figured walnut veneers with concentric inlaid stringing. Raised on a turned pedestal and shaped tripod legs, also with intricate inlaid detail. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Sold together with a loose glass top to protect the surface of the table.
